• Forming part of the historic Llandaff Rowing Club, the City of Llandaff Pétanque Club is situated in a beautiful setting overlooking the River Taff and the Taff Trail. It has excellent facilities including eleven purpose-built pistes (playing surfaces). Pétanque, commonly referred to as ‘Boules’, is an easy game to play and to learn. Welcoming members of all ages and playing standards (from beginners to experts), the City of Llandaff Pétanque Club offers a full and varied programme of social and competitive events. Feel free to join us down at the riverside to enjoy a friendly game with new friends; or to simply sit on the terrace with a cold drink and enjoy the sound of the river and the ever changing vista of the river Taff. The historic City of Llandaff lies to the north of Cardiff City centre and is built on the site of a Roman Road linking Cardiff Castle to Llantrisant. It contains the magnificent Llandaff Cathedral, a bustling High Street, a picturesque village green and also a thriving and friendly community with cafes, pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance of the club. There are easy transport links to the club where onsite parking is available and the number 24 bus stops at the entrance to the Boat House.
