• Oakleafe Sussex Rambling & Nordic Walking (a section of Oakleafe Rambling Club) aims to provide a full programme of Walking with Company through some of the best parts of south-east England. Our main base for East Sussex activities are to be found between the South Downs & Weald to Ashdown Forest. Oakleafe offers a Walking Fellowship based either in Rambling &/or Nordic Walking > with which to explore areas of East Sussex and adjacent counties. We regularly venture into the west of Kent; & sometimes further afield. (i.e. to Dorset; the Isle of Wight; Suffolk and (in 2015) to North Norfolk). Oakleafe offers a variety of Groups for RAMBLERS and/or NORDIC WALKERS. Oakleafe offers a SUSSEX SINGLES series each month in East Sussex, with Guided Rambles monthly on a Saturday afternoon (usually). Here is a chance, through the sociable aspects of walking together regularly, to make new friends and contacts. It is not a dating agency!! This section has its own facebook Group ~ seeking members NOW. Our specialisations for most events are as follows : HALF-DAY WALK EVENTS : FRIENDLY DOGS are very welcome; but, usually on a lead.
