MARLOW SCRABBLE CLUB Update Venue DetailsEdit

  • Marlow Scrabble Club are based in Costa Coffee Shop on the high street in Marlow. I am creating a friendly and welcoming group who enjoy socializing and having a good chat whilst playing our favourite game. The group is newly running and is run by Connie. We will meet every Wednesday from 1.30pm to 4pm and this may increase. You are very welcome to drop in at any time between these times and play as many games as you like. All equipment is provided so you only need to bring yourself. You can just turn up on the day and the shop staff will direct you to the correct tables, Any ability is welcome and if you would like to improve your strategy we will have players who are willing to help you with that. There is no pressure to do this though. The group also does not operate league tables. Dictionaries are welcome. The entry price is £5. This is to cover the use of the coffee shop hire. We will also have social events 2 to 3 times each month Event ideas include an afternoon out for a pub lunch and an evening out at the theatre or cinema. The coffee shop is located on West Street close to shops and a bus stop. There is also ample parking just across the road. The coffee shop is also wheel chair accessible.
